Parent and Carers Advisors
Parent and Carer Advisors (PACA), is a participation and support group for parents and carers whose children or young people access services in Surrey. These services include, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health, Targeted Youth Support, Pupil Referral Units and Social Care Services.
PACA is facilitated by the User Voice and Participation Team. PACA meet regularly to ensure their voices are heard to positively shape the services that their children and young people access.
PACA is also a great, safe space for parent and carers to talk and get to know other parent and carers who may be facing similar situations.
PACA is participant led, the contents of each meeting is decided by the attendees, targeting any specific topics they would like to be discussed.
